I hope you enjoyed this! They're doing a second run in May/June according to T+Y, so if you want to subject yourself to the lower-body equivalent of a hair shirt that'll be your next chance. There aren't any signs of weakening fabric yet so I think they'll probably be okay. I'm planning on taking them to the one-calendar-year mark and washing them then. They got rained on a bit once but otherwise have stayed away from much moisture. Their current appearance is the end result of near-daily wear from 9/14/12 to now. i could not for the life of me get the knees to come out looking right)

() (this photo sucks, but it's the best of the worst. Also the summers in this area are fucking miserable so even if I weren't *doing* much 100° humid weather will likely cause some more change. I'm anticipating more outdoors time now that it's warming up, though.I'll be doing quite a bit of yardwork helping my dad out, doing some home improvement stuff, and so on. I've been wearing them since September 14, 2012, and there just hasn't been a huge amount of physical activity done in them. I walk a few miles a day and two or three times a month hop around at a show. A good chunk of my day is spent in front of a computer doing computer things in the office. The reason that I hadn't bothered posting anything about them to date is that there wasn't much to show.

I ordinarily like a 29 in the WG cut, which is numerically one below what I buy in most other jeans, so per recommendation I went with a 30. At a guess I'd say the postsoak measurement on the waist was probably about 30.5"", so these have some give. At present, the measurements of note are waist 32"", inseam 32"", thigh about 23"", maybe 23.25"", and rise 9.75"". I didn't measure them before or right after I soaked them, which is kind of a shame. I wear a belt with them because I like the way belts look, not out of necessity. They were an unbelievable pain to get into and out of at first but have relaxed to some extent. They're incredibly warm, which was nice during the chilly winter and will be horrible this summer, and I'm pleased to say that the construction has been solid so far.

They are labelled ""(),"" and they're not kidding. If you felt like dropping half a grand on something ridiculous, these were a good choice: stupidly, comically thick denim that will make you walk like a moron for about a month, wincing at your bruised, blistered hips.
